Traktor S2 MK2 MIDI Mode with Traktor Pro 2.5

Hi Can I use Traktor S2 MK2 in MIDI Mode with Traktor Pro 2.5? Problem is Traktor won't even recognize the S2 MK2 when I try to set it up in MIDI mode. Am I missing something? Or will it only work with Traktor 2.6+?

Im assuming youre not using a legit version of Traktor if you want it to work on 2.5.

Otherwise, just log in and download 2.6.8 and everything will work fine.

And further, why do you need Midi mode on the S2 in Traktor? Everything is mapped natively for HID. Midi mode is usually for using an S2 with software other than Traktor that doesnt support HID.

unfortunately, I purchased Traktor Duo along time ago and was able to upgrade for free to 2.5 but it doesn't seem like it will let me upgrade any further?

but yes, you're right. i finally figured out the issue is the MK2 doesn't work with versions below 2.6.

The upgrades above Traktor 2.5 are all free. You should be able to log into your account on the NI website and download the latest version. Support will help you if you cant log in.
