My MM-1 and PL-1 controllers are not communicating with Traktor anymore. How do I go about checking if I am using the correct channels?
Thanks.

Go controller config, see if they are listed in your in/out channels, and check that traktor knows there are there. Have you imported any .tsi's lately to your traktor config?
Denon DJ/MC6000KMK2/Launchpad S/LaunchcontrolXL/Traktor Pro 2/Bringin it since 96.
Also. What mappings do you use?
Guys, I hear a voice in the dark, my misery might be at an end!
I wrote a big post but when I came to submit I got sent back to log in and the message was wiped, my OP was a really short tester.
Part of the problem is the way Traktor performs, here is a bit of cut and paste from the emails Ive been sending to Native Instruments.
For long spells Traktor will run alarmingly slowly, 40 seconds each way to open and close the preference panel, at the time of this slow down Traktor will be the only software running. For no reason the running will speed up to a nearly instant normal speed.
For maybe an hour of constant importing / adding of the tsi file Traktor would neither remember its import into the device set up on restart nor would it even show it as the same name - what I mean by this is that when the tsi was imported by this path; preferences > import > select categories > ok, the device set up window showed this tsi file as CMD MM1-Generic Midi, in port n/a out port n/a.
Import this same tsi via the add path; preferences > controller manager > device set up > add, the tsi showed up in the device drop down menu as; CMD PL right_D Generic, in port Traktor Virtual, out port Traktor Virtual. Closing and restarting Traktor revealed that the tsi was remembered as CMD MM1-Generic Midi.
After another total Mac restart just now Traktor is remembering everything like the toothache that disappears as soon as you get to the dentist, problem? what problem?…..
Back in January when I bought the CMD PL-1 and MM-1 the only problem I had was Traktor forgetting to save my settings, everything was really random, sometimes a save sometimes not, this eventually sorted itself out and everything was fine until April when I had to get a new hard drive in my Mac and do a full restore of everything.
At first the reinstall was ok-ish, the 4 channels were no longer a linear left to right, 1, 2, 3, 4, but I could figure that out, then nothing worked, zilch, nothing but orange lights on the Behringers. Ive done 2 further complete uninstall / re installs but nothing, not a flicker from any of the tsi's.
damn, do I really sound desperate??
For most of the time I have been using your MM-1 isolate and the wPaul 1 for the PL-1.
After the April crash I had initial success with a mapping for an MM-1 and 2 PL-1's

I think you've simply added too many mappings in to your device menu. Using Device>Import would only add new mappings to the device list...
Did you try to import via Big Import button at the bottom of preferences window? This way any already existing mapping will get overwrite.
1) add MM-1 via Big Import (bottom)
2) add PL-1 via Device > Import
3) assign correct controller MIDI i/o port for each part of the mapping

Right then, I now get that the import button overwrites the tsi adds via device manager, I did sometimes have way too many tsi's in the drop down menu and then i'd get all frustrated when they sometimes all got wiped out..
The problem I seem to have now is not being able to replicate your screen grab. I get only 3 options in the in/out port and to be honest I'm lost in the channel assignment...

Thanks for the help, its been hell in isolation!
That's why Traktor took way too much time to open/load preferences window.
Looking at your second screen here. If you've grab that with your MM1 plugged in to the computer, than your hardware might be faulty since Traktor didn't recognize it.
Can you please share the screen of the MIDI Studio on your OS X? See if the controller applies in there.

Right then, we are getting somewhere new here. 2 screen grabs, one of my utilities window and one from the only MIDI related folder...Screenshot 2015-04-24 09.20.47.jpgScreenshot 2015-04-24 09.21.06.jpg
I seem to be a bit light in the MIDI department....
With a slowly rising sense of hope that the nightmare might soon be resolved comes another minor problem, one controller was bought from London, the other from Paris, sods law dictates that if one controller is dodgy it'll be the one from the shop with the greater shipping costs! ^_^
edit. I just checked in Deckadance.Screenshot 2015-04-24 10.00.24.jpg
I can't figure out which controller, or maybe both of them is not working, the bus powered PL-1 lights up properly when tethered with the MM-1, but remains dark when just bus powered by itself.
