Since Friday Flavourites is no more, I thought a new thread was in order.

Here's a new set made with the prototype of my DJ software, Synner 3.

I have been putting in a whole lot of effort to improve the sound quality in the prototype of my DJ software, and I'm pretty happy with where it's at. It could still be better, of coz, but I don't want to put forth completely crazy amounts of work on a prototype when I should be working on a properly engineered production version.

In order to offer a comparison in how far the sound quality has improved, I played the same tracks as the first Synner set in the same order. Well, except I didn't play "Crazy, Crazy" 'cause that track can't be slowed down that much. Dunno what I was thinkin' with that one.

This mix also demonstrates some of what I can do with the main functionality I built my own DJ software for - powerful live remixing. It's a whole lot of fun, but obviously this wouldn't be something I'd want to do 100% of the time. However, it would be nice for peaks, and it has uses other than cramming 20 tracks into 19 minutes.
