Default Advice on buying turntable and mixer.

    Hi there,

i'm trying to buy turntables and a mixer to learn how to scratch & beat juggle.
i'm sort of on a tight budget, but i would like to start learning something while my financial status doesn't improve. For that reason was thinking about just buying one turntable, a mixer & a sample vinyl to learn the basic and some scratching techniques.

Now i dont want to sound contraditory, but since i barely have any knowledge about the subject i would rather buy new and know everything is at it should be.

    Turntables:
The cheapest i saw was the stanton t.62 at around 180 euros. seen some complaints about the torque, 1kg. some people say its enough for scratching while others say it doesnt have enough torque. what do you think about it?

    Seen also turntables by Reloop:
    RP-2000M 229 euros
    RP-4000 M3D 229,50 euros
    RP-2000 Mk3 USB 269,00 euros
    RP-4000M 299,00 euros

aside from those reloop turntables: Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USBHC for 299 euros.
basicly these are the prices from thomann and musicstore.de

    Mixers:

will the Numark M2 do the job? its around 100 euros. Does the crossfader have a small life expectancy?
Should i invest in a DJ TECH DIF-1S with INNOfader ? its around 200 euros.

if i'm saying something horribly wrong please do correct me, hope there isn't any typo here, english is not my first language.

    Thank you for your time

if youre gonna cut, buy a real TT like a tech 1200 or a pdx2000 .. never buy numark anything.. and yes to the DJ tech mixers, great value for the money.

IIRC, the Stanton, Reloop, and Audio Technica turntables are actually all made by the same company. Hanpin Electron.

I think they make turntables for a lot of other companies as well.

Honestly, a Technics SL1200 is the best investment, even used. They are built like tanks, parts are easy to find, and they are easy to service too.

Actually the Numark TTXs are brilliant turntables.

    thanks everyone for your advice!

the technics sl1200\ttx are a bit expensive here, goes around 450 euros (minimum). so it will probabily better to wait a bit till i have enough money.
