Default Mapping Keylock in Traktor Pro

Hey all, quick question. I'm mapping some buttons to enable Keylock in Traktor Pro and noticed that there are two options, Keylock On and Keylock On (Preserve Pitch). Does anyone know what the difference is between these functions? I've tried mapping both of them and on the surface they both turn on Keylock as expected. I just don't know what the difference is supposed to be between them.

One locks the key at the original key, the other will lock the key at what it currently is adjusted to (via the pitch fader)

If it locks the key to whatever the pitch fader is adjusted to, then how is that different to just leaving keylock off?

Lets say you move the fader to +6% and it changes the key, then you hit keylock to keep that key no matter where you move the pitch fader to.
