Default MBR or GUID partitioning for Pioneer CDJ drives?

Normally I'm a Traktor/Serato type of guy, but getting into just using USB flash drives w/ Pioneer CDJs.

Does the partitioning format matter for the drives? I'm using HFS+ formatted drives, but so far I have partitioned them w/ MBR.

    Can I use GUID instead?

No, they don't support GUID as far as I know.

If you want reliable rekordbox stick with FAT32 and choose complete format, not quick one.

HDDs, SSDs can be used, HFS+ can be used, partitions can be used, but if you start going crazy with those options you will eventually have a failure while playing or things will get pretty slow when browsing.

Safe Recorbox: 32Gb, FAT32 complete format with good formatting software (This was my choise, back when I used Rekordbox: http://www.devsite.compuapps.com/ind...ent&Itemid=190) and some good USB Stick (I've used these ones: Kingston Digital HyperX 3.0, SanDisk Extreme).

When not using Rekordbox, go WAV.

And after doing all this, I'm a Traktor dude now. Guess why lol
