Default Has anyone changed out the LEDs of a DDJ-SZ/SX?

I'm not talking about just the pads, but the buttons as well.

With the new Pioneer DDJ-RZ/SZ out.. I still would love to hold onto my gear, but give it an imitated look

The orange LEDs comes into mind. Blue/Orange is lovely, by the way

Default Possible... but voids warranty and surface mount LEDs might be challenging

Sounds like a cool idea. I was able to find a service manual and it looks like the LEDs are 3mm through hole. So if you have a decent soldering iron and buy some LEDs off eBay, etc it should be a good weekend project. The only caution I would have is check the current pull of the LEDs before removing them. If the new LEDs are a lower voltage you may end up driving too much current through them or too little. The resistors may need to be replaced as well as the LEDs.

If you do complete it be sure to post some photos of the process. I'd be interested in seeing it.
