Default is Traktor and Maschine stable for live use ?

    Hello boys and girls

I'm a reason user (since 1.0) and i use it for production and my live set.
    So far for my live i use a behringer bcr2000/bcf2000/akai mpd32/laptop/scarlett/Reason 8.
Since i use reason live it never crashed in more than 100 gigs and only crashed twice in my house (in 15 years), so i'm pretty in love with it just for this.(not only for sure, but nobody wants to crash while he plays)

I've been really impressed with the traktor S8, and thinking to go on maschine+traktor on a single PC computer.

I'm willing to change my setup for this one, but i'd love to get feedbacks from users to know their experiences about those programs. I'll be using remixs deck and stems on traktor and Maschine for live looping, and resampling in traktor.

So as said in the title, can i trust those two programs together on a single laptop ?

With enough RAM and a beast of CPU you should be just fine with one laptop

Yes, they work very well together. I'd say the best option would be an mixer with 5+ channels and an audio interface to match to get full use of four decks and an extra channel for the Maschine. I actually use a Xone:62, Audio8 and run the Maschine into one of the AUX channels via my MacBook audio out since I don't have an Audio10.
