I'm shocked this hasn't gotten more traction. Although not a huge update on face value, this is the exciting update many have been waiting for. Initial Impressions:

    1) 2 USB's. FINALLY. I wonder what type of certification its going to get. Rekordbox is a given but Serato/Traktor? Will we be able to utilize two separate software's on one mixer?
    2) Isolator on the FX. Very RMX 1000 esque.
    3) A blue indicator light underneath the cue button to indicate which channels are being effected by FX. Thats just smart use of extra mixer space in a dark booth.
    4) Probably a better soundcard to rival the DJM S9 + DJM 2000 Nexus soundcard. Better quality sound is certainly worth it.
    5) Magvel Fader Pro just like the DJM S9, guaranteed to be welcomed by anyone who scratches.
    6) More FX are always welcomed.
    7) Better FX screen to see timing and depth of effects compared to the previous iteration.

Either way if this comes in at the old price point then Pioneer has a worthy successor on their hands.

Oh I would absolutely love that blue indicator light...

Too many times I turn on my effects, and it's on the wrong channel...

Really interesting find, looks pretty legit. Also absolutely nothing online under "DJM-900NXS2" other than this post, sharp eyes for spotting this!

Excited to find out more about the new effects section, also the new FX indicator lights are a much needed addition, as SlvrDragon50 mentioned, this would considerably lessen the probability of bringing up the levels on a channel with an accidental effect still live.

I wonder if Pioneer is focusing more on the 900 series of mixer as opposed to the 2000? Over the past few years I havn't really seen them take off, almost all riders I see still request 900s. I guess we will see in January when this (and more) will probably be revealed at BPM.

Built-in recorder, maybe? The button could light up red while it's recording and the knob could be input level.

Give this man a cookie. So they took the best feature out of DJM-350, nice. Seems there is a USB-A port on the top right corner for plugging in a USB stick, knob can be a output level (playback from the USB stick as well as recording on it).
DJ's will be able to take their turns on the mixer (inc. USB interfaces) and the recording will not be interrupted.

    GREAT find.

    other things I've noticed:

1/8" headphone jack now as well

Color FX Min/Max knob like on DJM2000 (FUCK YES! djm900 filter is so obnoxious without variable resonance knob)

Touch Strip for FX seems to be split into 2 rows now

Reverse Roll & Melodic effects are gone

there's a new effect between Echo & Spiral as well as a new one above Slip Roll

Blue Quantize button on effects section is gone. could be just a regular button now, or built into mixer to auto detect when an input track has Rekordbox data to quantize to

The front plate of the mixer is not as slanted, and the label is written on the top plate now as opposed to the slanted front plate of the generation 1 DJM900
