Default S5 - how to reset tempo offset to 0.0% ??

This is driving me nuts. To transition between tracks of significantly different tempos, I like to drop the track I'm mixing in down to match the playing track, then after mixing in the second track do a sudden jump back to the actual tempo (i.e., 0.0% offset) at some transition such as the beginning of a verse. On the S4 I would simultaneously press the up and down arrow buttons above the tempo fader to do this instantly. I can't figure out how to do this with the S5. The only thing I can figure out is to type in the second track's original tempo into Traktor Pro 2, then hit return on the keyboard when I want to resent the tempo to 0% offset. There has to be a way to do this on the S5 -- help???

Quick question - why do you like to do this?

I do this all the time when transitioning between songs that have significantly different tempos.

This is not an uncommon practice. Been doing it through the quartz lock button on turntables for years.

    Quartz lock BUTTON?!?

That's practically cutting edge technology in the world of vinyl...

So we established I'm not crazy And the question remains, how do we approximate this 1978 technology on the S5 (or S8, since I assume they'd be the same)?

No. 1979 the MK2 was released with the quartz lock (that was the center little dip you felt in the pitch fader). Then in 1989 released a button to enable quartz lock on the mk3.
