Default Behringer CMD-DV1 [4 FX Channels]

Hey folks, I am new at the forum and first of all I am really glad for all comments that users make! I am learning a lot about MIDI Mapping and Dj! I Bought recently a Behringer Midi Controller, model CMD-DV1 that have 4 Fx Channels like the pic above, I search a lot about how i can map those channels to control each one individually. Since there are 4 Channels and 3 Effects Activate and Encoders i could have 12 more effects each deck. Or even if anybody have some tips what to do or how to activate theses 4 FX Channels it would help me a lot!

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi and welcome to Forums

If you use Traktor that could be achieved via one modifier.

    FX 1: Mx=0
    FX 2: Mx=1
    FX 3: Mx=2
    FX 4: Mx=3

Hello Stewe, Thanks a lot for the welcome! I understand how the modifier works but how I would creat this mod? I need to creat each mod according to each fx channel?

When i press the FX 1 Channel with tracktor it did't learn the button so the mod don't work because it is impossible to learn. Is there any option at settings that i need to activate other fx channels?

I've only tried MM-1 and PL-1 so I can't say for sure, but, maybe the DV-1 has a modifier built in to FX buttons...

    Something along this lines:

    FX 1 button = MIDI Ch.1
    FX 2 button = MIDI Ch.2
    FX 3 button = MIDI Ch.3
    FX 4 button = MIDI Ch.4

Try to midi learn encoders with each FX button activated and check if the midi channel is changing. If it does you'll be able to map this without the modifier due to hardware transmiting a same encoder midi messages on a different channels.
