Pioneer sx or gemini 700s ?

New to this forum so not sure if this is the write place to post this

So i only recently got in to djing about 8 months ago and started on a cheap controller and now feel im ready to move up to something alot better because my cjrrent setup is very limited i have a budget of 1000$ and would like to know if djs on here hink it would be better to get a pair of gemini 700 cdjs with a 300 mixer or pioneer sx controller

It depends on what you want to do. Do you want to continue to use a laptop or do you want to move away from it with a standalone setup? If you're planning on using the 700s as MIDI controllers, you might as well get the SX. If you also get the Gemini, you're probably going to want to upgrade later.
