Default Headphone cue Traktor external mode

    Hey boys

I'm linking traktor and ableton using jack audio: 1 tracktor deck = 1 ableton channel
Problem is, I don't have the preview monitor in traktor anymore since I'm using external mode. I can get it from each ableton channel but I prefer controlling this via traktor and it would be easier to retrieved since I mapped it allready

LMK if someone found his way around !

What Audio Interface are you using? How are you routing your audio OUT of Live? (I'm assuming you are routing from Traktor INTO Live?).

Depending on how you're doing it - you could route your Traktor preview/cue to a separate, individual channel in Live, leave that channels monitor set to "Auto", and control the preview on/off in Traktor...

This should be pretty straight forward using Jack.

Hi Patch thanks for your answer

I'm using asio4all, and the routing is like in jack:

traktor 8 outs to ableton 8 in
ableton 1/2out goes to the speaker
ableton 9/10out goes to the headphone

Well that's a good idea I'm gonna try it

It seems like the preview output from traktor doesnt work:

-I disconnected everything in jack, set 9/10out in traktor external mode to be preview output
    - connected via jack the 9/10 out to my speakers

zero sound when I toggle the headphone cue in traktor

Did you actually enable preview/cue on any of the decks in Traktor?
