Technics 1200 33/45 button issue

Hello! I am new to the forum and have been having an issue with my 33/45 buttons. After a recent cleaning and reassembly, everytime I press the 45 button it lights up, but the platter does not speed up and the 33 button remains lit up no matter what I do. Is this something that can be fixed with a button replacement, or will I have to try and fix the actual circuit board?
