Compact controller VDJ 8 with balanced outputs + aux in?

Hi guys (and girls)

Looking for suggestions for a fairly small footprint controller for my mobile setup.

It's pretty much essential that it must have an (emegency) auxiliary in for my ipad in case of laptop issues, and preferably balanced xlr outputs although I can live with RCA at a push as long as the built on soundcard is good quality.

If it works natively with my preferred software which o VDJ8 then that would be great but if I need to "fiddle" with some remapping then I'm up for the challenge

Budget isn't an issue as long as the kit can do the job.

Been looking at some Hercules and Numark models but haven't seemed to find any that quite "fit the bill" yet?

Any advice or suggestions would be most gratefully received.
