I like it.
Last year I was *this* close to covering my old KDJ500 in some Ampeg tolex I had left over from a bass cabinet job. I thought it would be cute and cheeky to have a vintage audio component look to it.
Heres an update! All is missing is the new layout tsi which I should be able to print out tommorow and some white caps and faders!
I will post a full does and don'ts when I'm done, including what getting your jogwheels black!
Do to the flash some pics might seem that the color of the vci is Gray but its actually Black!
Tip!
1. So you want to paint your jogwheels black and don't know what paint will work!
Well how about Rustoleum Black! Three layers, 20 min intrevals at least to let it dry! After wash them under cold water and dry with cotton rag! This will get the micro paint dust off so that you don't pick your nose with dirty black fingers! Works like a charm!
2. Also paint the tops of your screws so they match your jogwheels! Same procedure as above!
Enjoy!

Dude, looks great man! I like your layout for the arcade buttons, good for people with bigger hands, and has more of the classic arcade feel. How did you go about doing the overlay? My current setup is just the old faceplate spray painted black and sharpied, and its kinda a bitch hahaha.
