2 MIDI Controllers conflict

Hi

I am having trouble with these 2 controllers

Numark orbit which i use for effects onlu with Nebula Effects
and numark mixtrack pro 3

the orbit seems to have the button code of the jogwheel exactly the same as the treble when set on Pad 2 … and on some other conflicts

is there anyways this could be solved?

If it’s two MIDI mappings you are using, check if they are set to ‘All-Ports’ (In/Out) and if so, set one to the orbit and the other one to the mixtrack.

General rule in windows: Never use All Ports in or out. It will always cause communication conflicts, especially if you are using a USB hub.

I used to use mixtrack pro .. and did not have this issue .. so i did not know that :slight_smile:

solved now :slight_smile:

This is only a problem when multiple controllers are using the same midi channel, or the same midi commands.

Both easily fixed with midiOx/MidiYoke for PC, or ControlAid for Mac.
