A&H Xone K:2 mappings
Hi all,
I am looking for “the best” mapping for a single K2 that would enable controlling Traktor transportation controls (play, sync, loop, pitch bend etc) in one layer and Traktor effects for one layer for 4 channels. No need to have EQ controls as I have external mixer to control the volume and EQ.
Do you have any recommendations you could give me? There seems to be many mappings out there but finding a suitable one has been “like finding a needle in the haystack”.
The best way is making your own mapping. Just add a couple of commands, midi learn it to buttons on your controller and assign them to corresponding deck.
Add In > Deck Common > Play
Add In > Deck Common > Sync
Add In > Deck Common > Tempo Bend
Add In > Deck Common > Loop > Loop Set
etc
like the man says.
plus don’t try to use more than one colour on the LED as feedback unless you are prepared for a LOT of braintwist. best stick to a single one. this is of course only important if you don’t use the A&H layering for the specific LEDs. the manual provides the list of notes for the different colours if you want to use something other than red.
