ableton converting mp3 to wavs (where?)

does anyone know where the default location of the wav folder is? i know ableton converts all the mp3, i just got a portable hard drive that i wanted to use for that. i’m on a mac if that helps.

also, how can i change the location of this folder?

go to the file folder in preferences and you can see what your catch location is and change it.
