akai mpd 24 mod

hello everyone, just sharing tips on this akai controller,
first for better pad sensitivity

done it, works like a charm now, way more response;

then for changing the mmc controls to cc messages :
hit the edit button, touch one of the mmc controls and turn the editing knob to the right, press it, and voila. the cc are 115 to 119 ( they are fixed tough )

if you have any problems updating the firmware, i would advice using this

way more simple than the vyzex software you can download at akai…

…Pretty sure the controller in the video is the MPD32. That being said, keep in mind the MPD24 and the MPD32 are manufactured differently, -before modding anything.

yep its the 32 in the video, but works the same for the 24 ( i did it on a 24 ), i just couldnt tell you for the mpk series and the other mpd models tough, just be carreful and it will be fine ( its not an hardcore mod :slight_smile: )
