Allen & Heath X:One K1 Traktor Mapping

Allen & Heath X:One K1 Traktor Mapping

Hi everybody.

I bought this controller few days ago and I’m trying to prepare my first mapping (for Traktor).

I have a lot of questions, so I hope that someone more expert than me could help.

So, I was able to set the following controller function:

PLAY/PAUSE
SYNC ON/OFF
VOLUME FADER
EQ KNOB
EQ KILL Switches

I also was able to set HOT CUES (1,2,3,4) for each deck and also how to delete them (mapping one button as SHIFT).

On EQ killing switches (HI, MID BASS), when I press “kill”, the led light in red color.
I’d like to have this: when EQ is not killed, led= green, when EQ is killed, led= red

And also:

 • normally, when HOTCUES are not set, led must be OFF
 • when HOTCUE has been set, led must be ON
 • when HOTCUE has been deleted, led must be OFF

Many thanks in advance.

Hi L1z4rd and welcome to DJTT!

Check your MIDI Range: min value = off color ’ max value = on color
And also:

 • normally, when HOTCUES are not set, led must be OFF
 • when HOTCUE has been set, led must be ON
 • when HOTCUE has been deleted, led must be OFF
This can be set with a Hotcue State Modifiers and the midi range. I’m sure you can figure it from here

About MIDI Range maybe I didn’t get.
I already set the value to to min (off color) and max (on color).
My qyestion is different. I’d like to have RED color for off an GREEN for on (on the same button).

Concerning hot to set colors on/off in Hotcue with a modifier, I’m walking in the dark.
Could you please explain it in detail please?

Hey, that’s my bad… I just recall that K1 and K2 LED outputs are different from other controllers because you need to assign the specific MIDI note (sent from controller) to lite up different colors. Must say I don’t have (any) experience with this controllers to give you detailed input on how to map this. Perhaps other Forum members can be of more help.

Thanks Steve, about Hotcues led I solved, just selecting “All Ports” in the Midi Device output.
About different color for the same button, last night I had some idea, I’ll let you know.
