Alternatives to Novation Dicer (cue points/sample)

Alternatives to Novation Dicer (cue points/sample)

The title says it all.

I am looking for an alternative to Dicers. I am shopping around for comparable hardware so that I am able set hot cue points and samples with Serato Scratch. I have looked at Kontrol X1 but want to see if there is anything out there to compare it to before I make purchase.

Much appreciated.

Behring cmd lc1 or dv

dicers are JUST buttons. Their simplicity is their beauty.
Any controller with buttons will do what dicers do.

i have to agree. im pretty close to considering it. another pointer is that its cheaper than say the x1 or lc1/dv

Those controllers are not really comparable.

I love Dicers, but they’re very specific - they do what they do well, but they’re not as flexible as other controllers.

just found these.

anyone have their opinion on this?

We’ve been talking about 'em today.

Silly cheap.

If I didn’t have Dicers and a ZOMO-MC-1000, I’d go for the SP1. It’s a nice DVS solution combined controller.

wow that is pretty cheap. they go about £200 in the US.

the shipping would then probably add up to about the same. i might go with this being that im very familiar with pioneer products. i just wish it was cheaper. maybe ill find some luck on ebay.

option 2

Another option is the Neon Reloop, small little package runs around 140 and its pretty easy on the eyes. Although i went with the DDJ SP1, The Reloops look pretty slick

i like that its separate for each deck instead of the sp1 where its a complete block that takes up laptop real estate - a cross between dicers and sp1.
