My Iphone has stopped working properly and as the new ones due out over the next month (rumour of course) i’ve decided to wait out. I’ve bought my friends nexus1 but as it’s my first android phone i’ve had as mine in my hands i a little lost to which apps are worth a download. So far i’ve got
opera mini
winamp
spotify
vigette
google+
Facebook
Twitbird
launcherpro
what’s today
qr droid
pewpew 2
have i missed any i should try out be it an alternative or something else entirely be it dj orientated or not.
I prefer ubermusic to winamp
angry birds
cut the rope
chrome to phone
fruit ninja
gameboid
google goggles
The best part about android is the customization!
@Wala. i’d spotted angry birds, cut the rope and fruit ninja. not mega interested in IOS available apps (games especially) as like i’d mentioned it was my iphone thats bust and i’m waiting for the next one to be available. so this nexus is just a gap phone more than likely. but cheers for the others i didn’t mention i’ll give them a look once i’ve posted this.
Hey, have any of you guys tried TouchDAW on android? I just downloaded it the other day. It’s pretty cool because you can work with a DAW on your computer through your phone over a wifi connection. Last night, I tried it out with Traktor. I just used the keyboard on TouchDAW to set and trigger hotcues, but I’m sure there’s a lot of other things you can do with this app.
Anyone tried power amp as a music player? How does it compare to the apps mentioned above? I’ve got power amp but not tried the above. Power amp has a wicked multi band equaliser that allows you to tweak your sound no end.
