No, not bingo. It has everything to do with him being to fucking lazy to search out a top40 list and instead asking us to spoon feed him. Put the fucking time into it already like a real DJ already does.
probably because what they asked for is the easiest to find…and it’s a second thread asking the same question…

Yeah i’ve been playing a reasonable size dubstep night in my town for about a year now.. I dunno why you think you can tell me im ‘not ready to DJ’ just because I had A bad expeirience turning my hand to a new style of music..
As I say, it was my first show playing a genre that i’ve never tried to play before and rarely listen to so therefore a had a limited number of tracks that I felt the crowd would respond well too. I have the next one on monday so I do not have enough time to build the sort of collection I have over the past year in the dubstep genre. I was asking for help from the djtt community, obviously I can buy the current top 40 and remixes therein but what im after is an insight into what people who play these nights regularly spin and what goes down well.
You just admitted that you weren’t ready for it and still arent, if you were ready for it you wouldn’t be asking for one of the key things (MUSIC) you’ll need as a DJ.
You’re not ready for it.
If you took the time to fucking read, rather than just jump to conclusions, i was agreeing with the fact that yes, the OP is being lazy expecting people to share what tracks work well (when they themselves have tried and experimented with tracks that work well and get a crowd moving).
Regardless of whether or not we, as an online djing community, share our knowledge of tracks or what works well playing out… the OP will more than likely eventually obtain the same tracks we spin, but as pointed out by manchild…
Which is what i was agreeing with, and nothing but practice and experience and time will make the OP a better DJ (which includes searching, buying, preparing, practicing and knowing your tracks) regardless of if we decide (as the generous and helpful community that we are) if we want to point him in the right direction by suggesting some remixers or artists that work well.
now as ive said in a previous post on another thread…
if you dont have anything constructive to add, keep it to yourself. because your pointless bitching and complaining over things you could easily ignore has become quite old and redundant.
TABS:
Damn you are lazy…got all these in a matter of…15 seconds…Would you like me to make you a TOp40 mix you can just play and act like you are mixing it too?..

I thought I saw a Dr Dre track in that list but cant be bothered looking for it. Can someone please find it for me. Am far too busy practising Jesus pose to track down tunes Id like to play
this thread is a mess from the beginning to the end!
an easy answer like: “google top40” would have been enough!
if i´d be i visitor and not a member i´d think that at leaast 90% of the members are douchebags. surely captcha asked an easy question. but you guys really give him a hard time.
stop trolling and if you have an answer than answer if you don´t than don´t, but please stay professional.
end of rant
edit - fuck it, I can’t be bothered. Need a timeout from this forum, obviously
play tracks you like. ideally the crowd should like it too but if you don’t like it, you run the risk of no-one in the room liking it.
also, I have quite a bit of experience djing to students, you don’t have to keep it mainstream the whole time. until they drunk it doesn’t really matter what you play providing it isn’t too aggressive/heavy/hard. and then once they super drunk you can pretty much bash out anything you like. I’ve got girls who’ve never heard dubstep before trying to dance to Scatta by Skrillex. that was a bit funny.
if you know your dubstep well, play that mostly. there are enough mainstream dubstep/bass tracks and remixes of pop songs to get people going, then you can slowly take into less well known territory.
i’ve had to excuse myself from a few also…i can’t be bothered with some people’s frame of mind…
in a time when tunes are plentiful and easy to get people still want it done for them…

You seem to have missed the point of this thread as well you twat. No one was ever questioning his skills behind the decks, or if he can do the same thing as someone else and so on. We are just frustrated with all these threads on here and that he would have the audacity to come here and make such a request when it is so readily available by either doing a quick forum search or Google search

You’re really gonna be so hyped up that your going to call someone on whats supposed to be a friendly, helpfull, dj community, names? It’s as simple as this, if you’re not trying help, you don’t post. It’s not like the OP suckered you into reading this thread…just look at the name of thread and you can get the point without even opening it…twat

Isn’t this calling the kettle black and all that jazz?
but but but…you started it…honestly you can see how childish it sounds…I apologize if you took it literal.
What an utter waste of time.
Next person that calls someone a “twat” on this forum gets a temp ban.
If you disagree, do it politely or shut the hell up.
