Agree with sobi here- it’s not acceptable to ask for free design work just like it’s not acceptable for someone to ask you for free dj services or free website services or whatever.
The good news is you can find tons of people to do design work for real cheap, but don’t try to get people to do it for you for free.
hey I have a few hours free 2nite I will make you a website for free. nah im only messing in all honesty I made a free book midi mapping for bums. It got over 2000 downloads and I couldnt even get sum1 to do an awsome cover for that. That was a free project benifiting many people aswell
OK i agree you guys think its not fair but, theres people out there who are starting to take graphic design as a hobby, and they want to work on something, what is a better way than gettinga little mini job just to practice your skills out… THATS MY POINT HERE… if any of you live in Saudi Arabia .. i will be glad to pay you. but guess what… none of you do.. so thanks for all the comments.
hey man,…best way,ask some of your ‘artist’ friends if they can help you out…or,worse case,do a very simple version yourself…if you are good at what you do’music-wise or whatever really’,you can have a ‘stick-man’ as a logo ‘or your hand print in paint shrunk down’ and people will know its you…the inter-net is very cruel and un-forgiving,keep your head up and mind focused on your music and all will come together…inshallah.
some people forget what its like to start out…take these comments and use them to focus your intention…good luck.

There’s a lot of criticism on here which I think is pretty unconstructive. OP, you didn’t really go about asking the right way, but I’ve seen several people here over the years who are graphic design students looking to widen their portfolios and offering logo designs for free. You never know, you might get lucky.
You can ask for a logo on designerfora. There will always be some guys who need experience. In exchange fora logo, you can give they some support on a gig or eventually on your fb page?
