Anything going on in Salt Lake City, Utah?
In the near future, i maybe finding myself in SLC and I was wondering if there is any kind of Drum n Bass or House scene out there. If so, does anyone have any recommendations on clubs and/or promoters to get in the loop with. Thanks in advance!

A lot of the DJ’s in SLC play DNB or Breakz. Check out Mechanized Records http://mechanized.com/ pretty much the last standing techno record shop in Salt Lake, anyone there will be able to inform you on where to go and who to talk to. If you need anymore help let me know.

You’re welcome. I’m no longer in Utah but lived there for a long time and visit my friends there constantly. SLC is where I was introduced to the scene and picked up my first tables. If you are looking to move there don’t be too worried as most of the stuff you hear about is blown out of proportion. Yes a lot of the good DJ’s there prefer DNB and Breakz and still play it at the events they setup, but you won’t hear a lot of it at many clubs, mostly house music and hip-hop.
