APC40 LED Question

APC40 LED Question

When mapping the hotcue states to LEDs to reflect when a hotcue is present or empty: loop, grid, and load cues are showing the “empty” color i’ve mapped in Traktor.

I’ve mapped it as such:
-controller range: 0/1
-midi range: 3(red)/1(green)

My understanding then (correct me if I’m wrong, please) is that Traktor uses 5 cue states: cue, empty, loop, load, grid. How can I map the LEDs to address all 5 of these so that it recognizes the loops, loads, and grids? I have a feeling it has to do with the controller range being 0-1.

One other question: If I wanted to map LEDs to reflect which deck was in focus, how can I make sure that when I move a deck into focus that the other LEDs indicating deck focus turn off?

this article helped me alot…theres some great uses for the apc40 when you get down to the “real life examples” section.
