Assigning Independent Tracks to Pads and Keys on MPK25 in Logic Pro X

All,

I am new to Logic Pro X and my MPK25. I am going crazy searching for the answer to my question. I want to assign independent tracks to Pads and Keys on my MPK25.

i would like to have my chopped samples on the pads and then use my keys with another instrument.

I have also downloaded and installed Vyzex to try and create my own preset but still no luck.

I am hoping a LOGIC GURU can help me with this issue.
