Audio Interface Recommendation

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a pair of KRK Rokit 6s for my bedroom studio. Right now, I have them hooked up via the MASTER 1 output with XLR to my DJM 900 NXS2 and CDJ 900s. I also want to be able to use these studio monitors with my laptop and Ableton Push for production.

What would be the most streamlined method to set this up so that I’m able to use the monitors for both mixing and producing without unplugging wires each time? I have heard good things about the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and A&H Zed 10.

Couldn’t you hook up the DJM 900 NXS2 to your computer and use that as your audio output for production? I haven’t used that mixer but my understanding is that it has an audio interface built into it.
