Back Up Controller Options?
I have of ways of getting my laptop back up and running should that fail during a set but never really thought about a back up controller solution?
I use an S4 and Midi fighter and a spare channel on the house mixer
Just thought I’d see what people use (if any) as a back up solution?
if driving to a gig, normally have spare laptop and sound card in car, plus a assortment of cables vinyls and slip mats. got an audio 8 and 10, plus a windows laptop
if its a place where i have no car just rock up and hope for the best, if laptop or sound card go would be in trouble
Timecoded CDs and a few selected music CD:s to keep the party going while I search for errors… Actually had my main controller crash once, but my launchpad working so I switched from internal to external to a extra channel on the house mixer, worked out pretty good…
