Beginner: APC40 Mappings for Traktor not working!

Hi guys

I am completly new to Djing.
After reading a lot in this forum I decided to buy the APC40 and start using it with a mapping for traktor and then later getting into ableton.

I am facing now the problem that no matter what .tis I load into the Traktor the mappings don’t really work.

The most basic buttons - usally play, cues, etc work but filters don’t.

Am I not getting what it is about or do I have version problems?

I have the traktor scratch pro version 2.1.2 on a 10.7.3 Mac.

Haven’t made any update on the APC40!

Have you checked that the filters are on? Make sure the little blue light below the knob (on your screen) is lit.

Some mappings carry more information than just a mapping and that is why you need to import them using the big buttons on the lower left of the prefs window, do this twice to make sure it gets imported properly.
