Ok guys. i will order the Traktor S2 controller after all this weekend. I dont need more than the basics to start with and not too much buttons. If anyone have any last tips or suggestions bring it on but the S2 is what my budget will allow me now.
you should be perfectly fine mixing without a dedicated filter, so the s2 is good choice to start with. Worst comes to worst you can map the filter to the gain knob as a shift function or something. Unlike the x1, having the jog wheels and pitch fader on the s2 is nice cause you can learn to beatmatch manually if you feel like it. The s2 is more than enough to learn the basics, enjoy it.
