Behringer DJX 750
i’ve bought a Behringer DJX 750, but haven’t got the cdj’s yet still joinning up some money… I can still mix without the cdj’s without major problems right? pls dont flame im not a pro… thnks!
Well, you need some device to send music to your mixer. If you have that then you can mix. Your mixer is just that - a mixer. It mixes the audio it receives through its channels.
If you only have the DJX 750 and nothing else, then no, you cannot mix.
You at least need an audio interface, and ideally some sort of controller to control DJ software with.

What im saying is: can i plug the mixer into my laptop, open traktor pro 2, and start mixing? without cdj’s etc etc?

The DJX750 has no audio interface, it’s JUST an analog mixer.
Also it has no MIDI interface so it can’t be used to control software either.

You will still need a playback source to get your audio into the mixer. You’ll need more than one to mix. These could be turntables, iPod/iPad/iPhone, DJ software/laptop, etc.
