We all know The Harlem Shake.

Its not really deemed RAP or HIP HOP or DANCE, because there are so many sub genres now (and have been)

Please divert all of them over to a pet project by Flashflooder and myself - A State Of Trap.

Google trap music blogs, and you’ll find a ton of blogs dedicated to trap music. Also, Soundcloud and Mixcloud have a tagging system that you can search, if you search for the trap tag, you’ll no doubt find a ton of trap. The problem with the tagging method is the tags are user written so a lot of people call their non-trap songs trap because it’s gaining popularity and they know it will get more hits that way.

The even bigger problem with this is that people start to think non-trap is trap, kind of like how people think “progressive house” is actually progressive house, when it isn’t, it’s pretty much trance or electro. That’s partly the SHM’s fault, for not releasing any house tracks bout having house in their name.

Anyways, I digress, get spotify, google for different blogs. The advantage of blogs is that a lot of them get exclusive release, sometimes free, so you can get songs before they are widely circulated/pirated.

Youtube is my favourite by far its amazing how many records have been ripped and put on that site. I always find my self surfing the place and finding really good music.
