Best resource to learn mapping in Traktor?

I have had to sell my F1 to help fund a Push.. i see it as a benefit because a Push can essentially be 2 F1’s, however non of the available mapping are doing it for me so i want to try and make my own.. is there a good resource to do some reading or better yet some videos to watch? I’ve had a quick mess around and it’s frying my little brain.

Their are plenty of good mappings for the push.
I recommend the trash mapping from dschroeter which utilizes the lcd display via a max patch. (Brilliant and inspiring)

I’ve been working on a mapping for the push that has a drum sequencer. It’s the pusher mapping.

The problem with the push is that it doesn’t have faders :disappointed:

You made a big mistake.

Two F1’s would be cheaper than a Push - and you can even use a single F1 to control 2 decks in Traktor.

By about $75-$100

But the Ableton push is pretty awesome

For ABLETON…

I use it for Traktor.

That’s overkill.

Sorry i wasn’t clear.. i want a push to use it for it’s intended purpose, i.e producing in Ableton. Something else in my setup had to go for two reasons first being space (i have no space), second being cost (i spend too much on equipment).

I decided to ditch the F1 because the Push is basically 2 F1s, I know you can control 2 decks with a single F1 but now I can do it without switching.. providing i can learn how to do the mapping properly and get it how i want i only see it as a benefit.

I got the Push cheap since it’s on offer at the moment for £319, i had a 10% discount with decks.co.uk so got it for £287.

Enjoy it. Its a great controller to map. And there are lots o great mappings.
