Motivation: It can’t be anything but “Sucker Punch” I remember when I heard it the first time at Social Club in Paris and Steve Aoki dropped it after Paradise Poltergeist and Warp 1.9.
The crowd went MENTAL when sucker punch drops, more mental than after Paradise Poltergeist and Warp 1.9. That’s enough of a jury for me, just look at the crowd at the drop at 5:40 and 7:05 I’ve been to alot of fuckin’ shows this year ALL over the world, London Ed Bangers 7th Birthday Party all the big names were there, Paris Social Club several times, La Machine Paris, Spookfest San Fran with Fake Blood and Huoratron and big time venues in Hollywood and L.A nothing beats Sucker Punch in “drop value” judging by the crowds reaction

tough call… it doesn’t seem like there really was a definitive 2010 song like there was for past years… i remember 2009 it was almost unanimous that the jam of the year was “Florence And The Machine - You Got The Love (The XX Remix)”
if i had to choose, i guess the first stand-out tune that comes to mind is “Kuedo - Starfox” … it’s been out for awhile and i’m still loving it, pretty unique sound.
haven’t been following the electrohouse scene at all this year so this is the first time i’ve heard of porter robinson, gotta say the kid knows what he’s doing - some serious jams there!
