yea i found that last week the only thing that i wouldnt buy is because of th warranty the ship str8 from tokyo so idk but if u dont care is a good deal…and i really dont mind the silver vci

The black verison are very nice, I would say get them while you can.
To be honest I couldn’t believe my luck - I have pondered buying the VCI-100 for a few months now, but stumbling upon one of Ean’s videos last night inspired me. Of course, now I almost want a black MacBook to match 
thats my next investment. I want to get a black macbook with min 2 gigs & 2 ghz core duo 2. To match my vci’s
Wow thats interesting, i thought the black VCI-100’s were a japanese only limited edition and all had been sold? 
But they have stopped selling them now, as far as I know - ever since they bought out the oh so slinky, but not so functional MacBooks the other week. As it happens my work mate is trying to sell his - it is the most pimped out of the MacBooks that he could buy and it is only about 2 months old. He is asking £650 which is far too much for me right now, but if you anyone is interested, let me know and I will get the full spec from him.

Ooops, that was for JesC. As far as the VCI-100B goes - they have taken my money and I know the company to be reputable, so I had better see a Black VCI turn up! Maybe this community has given Vestax the incentive to market more of them?

Im keen myself, but don’t know what the deal is with the warranty importing to new zealand lol.
O i have a black macbook and i love it! I was thinking of getting the new one, but i to felt i would be cheating my mac oto lol. Im almost certain if you went into a reseller they would still have black macbooks in stock for a while.
When you get it you should tell me how the transaction went haha.
apple is still selling black macbooks…its on bottom left handside of the site under clearance.
Or if u go to refurbished section you can get even a better deal remember that new product when the come out from the assembly I would said only 20% of them are checked…if u buy a refurbished product they change all the inside and they checked to see if they workk

I went to the vestax germany website and on the front page they have announced the “new black vci-100” for october, all be it in german lol. Looks like japan got it and now germany is getting it.
Um… just get the overlay! The overlay turns the silver one into the black one. You won’t even be able to tell the difference. The bonus is that the silver knobs and sliders actually look better than the black ones on the black overlay (at least in my opinion).

I know for a fact that thomann.de deliver world wide, and I have to say they seem to have a very good approach to customer service - you get the name of a perosn to talk to as soon as you your order has been processed by them!
