Just finished installing my setup in my new house. Repainted the booth and redid some of the cabling. Now added an internal charger for the laptop and expanded the number of internal sockets.
For those who’d like to know the contents:
2x sl1210mk2
1x Allen&Heath Xone 4D
1x IBM thinkpad X41
1x small custom midi controller (for sampler and master gain)
2x B&W DM2a for speaker
2x Dynaudio recital for monitor
It is in the middle of my livingroom so it needed a high WAF*. It’s not too spectacular but very “ergonomic” as everything is mounted flush with the booth.
The monitors are amped with my homebrew 80watt tube amp using stabilizer tubes from russian MIG fighters and WW2 English radar modulator tubes.
The total internal width is 2x sl1200 + 1x Xone:4D + 6cm. Devide that by 4 and deduct 3x 12mm for the wooden deviders and you have the internal width (about 1cm wider than a vinyl)
The internal depth is 1x a Xone:4D (dimensions are online at the A&H site)
