Breaking Pioneer DJ News! New NEXUS models!

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nicholas, I am owner and founder of the blog DJ-Leaks. I have some great news for you about new Pioneer products. :tada:

Pioneer’s biggest, best kept secret of the latest months: NEW PIONEER NEXUS MODELS

Just like the Pioneer DJM-900 NEXUS there will be:

Pioneer DJM-2000 NEXUS
Pioneer CDJ-2000 NEXUS
Pioneer CDJ-900 NEXUS

These models will be released autumn this year.

My own speculations about the specs are:

New specifications of the CDJ-2000 NEXUS CDJ-900 NEXUS will probably be:

  • Wireless PRO DJ LINK modus which allows linking up to 4 CDJ’s
  • BEATSYNC function via PRO DJ LINK (wireless)
  • FLAC support
  • New features for the Needle Search

New specifications of the DJM-2000 NEXUS will probably be:

  • Traktor Scratch Certified 24bit/96kHz (eventually 192 kHz) built-in interface
  • Quantized FX
  • New Pioneer RMX-1000 Build-up and Break-down FX (this would be SICK)

I have my sources at Pioneer. Everything is confirmed except for my speculations.

Then they did a good job of faking it, because I remember being a little pissed about buying a pair of 900’s last week after reading that thread.

So basically you have NO concrete information about the units and can only speculate on the probably release date.

Looks like someone is canvassing for back links.

I’d look beyond pioneer for exciting releases BTW

Anyway everybody thought, that it would come out in April, because of the other items were correct on time.

As speculation, Denon came out with the 3900 and ipad integration, maybe pioneer want’s to implement that as well.

Soooo… are these a no go or a go? I was about to get some new CDJs, after seeing that pioneer was going to have advanced integration control with traktor, I figured I’d wait until I had some conclusive evidence.

Pioneer is planning to bring something new. But no one knows exactly what their new product will be. Everyone is just guessing now. So don’t spend to much time on this kind of subjects.
