Can anyone reccommend a laptop stand?

I’m after one just for use at home. Ideally i would like one that will go under the back of a djm 600 or a technics turntable?

I really don’t see why some are so expensive we are having the piss taken out of us seriously!

Anyway has anyone bought or made one that they can share details of?

Griffin elevator. Really cheap (compared to some), solid, takes up no space when taken apart and I reckon it would fit under a technics turntable…

If you have seen the numark laptop stand its basically that in a better colour and half the price!

This is one i intend picking up soon, I have a laptop stand but it won’t fit under my Xone 4D as there isnt enough space :disappointed:

Its not very high is it. If i put that under the back of my mixer the laptop would make it impossible to get to the eq’s. :disappointed:

Works a treat for home use (not really portable). Price so-so, but at least I could walk into the store and buy one…

I use the DJTT crane stand personally and i am quite happy with it indeed - its not cheapest stand out there but worth the money.

if you look for computer laptop stands then it will be cheap, i decided the dj ones were a joke price wise, came across that :slight_smile:

i use the stanton uberstand.. rock solid. even if someone bumps it, it may rock a little, but that thing has never even been close to falling over even with people packed up and dancing against the table and what not. plus it has an optional insert to jack into the stand to put your soundcard on, which is cool.

The crane stand it by far the sturdiest lappy stand I’ve ever had, highly recommended.

dunno why but i feel verry uncomfortable using the überstand in clubs. i have it and i don´t like it that much for the price i´ve paid. have 2 other stands from thomann for 20€ and they do a better job than the überstand. it is really wobbly with a laptop. for home use yes but for the clubs never… u can aslo not adjust the hight. i wouldn´t recommend this by my own expirience but if others are happy with it…

before buying, verify :
1- the system (steel or iron)
2- number of part
3- capacity

I tried various but because I m living in a country where heat and humidity are parents, anything in steel or iron is just a nightmare and I have to find an other alternative.

Oh yeah..! Cool.
I have a Magma 1.0 which is the more expensive version which is fine but too expensive.
I also had the folding Magma 2.0 but the construction was unbelievably bad, i mean shocking so i sent it back.

The thing with the Uber Stand is its not angled and way too high for a little guy like me:smiley:

if you just want elevation off the surface in a lappy stand, not clearance, then I can personally recommend these.

Light, extremely portable, and sturdy as hell. Great air flow underneath for those with the LavaBook Pro’s.

I use the Stanton Uberstand, easy to setup.

You can fit a controller or mixer under it and also has a shelf to place an external sound card or hard drive.

I thought about buying one of these at Thommann but I was wondering if its possible to fold the stand ?!

Stanton Uberstand!!! I love mine. puts the laptop at a good height and folds down flat for easy transport.
