Can I use my midi controller to trigger keyboard shortcuts / applications ?

Hey guys, so I was wondering if there’s a software that I can use my midi fighter to trigger keyboard shortcuts/applications on my mac or pc ? For example, like the elgato stream deck, if I press a button on my midi fighter, my mac will launch google chrome and log into one of my email address / open an url (e.g youtube) or it will launches an application on my mac like ableton or after effect. Is there any software that will do something like this ?

Not too sure about windows, but midistroke maps keyboard shortcuts and macros to midi controllers, so should work.
