can't get into menu mode

can’t get into menu mode

just got this in the mail, but when I follow these instructions V im left with just the top left LED on with my finger on it. when i let go, nuthin. also, when ean golden says hit the “big in port tab” to load up the .tsi file, when I press the tab i get an option for keyboard or none, no mac finder pops up…

To enter Menu Mode, hold down the top-left key while resetting the
Midifighter. You can power on the Midifigher by either by plugging in the
USB cable, or by pressing an optional 6mm tactile “reset” switch that can be
soldered to the top left of the motherboard.

Once in Menu Mode, the LED will display 7 option keys and a flashing “exit”
key:

I’m having this exact same problem…I was about to start a thread on it I can’t get into menu mode to save my life and I need to activate 4 banks mode for the mapping I’m using…

Yeah I tried that method about ten times and nothing happens just it starts up flashes then goes dead and the only led on is the led button I’m holding

K I got it working in menu mode I had to do a combination of reseting the pins and tapping the top left button but now it works in 4 banks mode and I’m happy :wink:
