Can’t get traktor to register S4 as midi in/out
Just bought this s4 without the software. Installed the drivers and whatnot. It recognizes it as a audio interface, and the master light just stays on (no blinking)
did you put it into midi mode? shift + browse button
also curious why you want to run it in midi mode? 
Does it send MIDI at all? If controller can’t appear in MIDI In/Out ports then try to change to some other USB socket or to reinstall it. If that doesn’t help then your unit seems to be defective.
you need to install the Controller Editor. I had the same issue. Traktor will recognize it but you need the editor for the software to see in and out.
