Chance to play live in San Francisco

Hi All,

I am setting up some events for amateur DJs to have a go at playing live at various locations in San Francisco. All the details can be found here:

Our next event is at Eve Lounge on Jan 4th 2012. We have all the DJs for this event but we will definitely be doing more in the future, at least once or twice a month.

We have a bunch of guys using S4 and Serato.

OO I am so signing up, Would be a drive but would be nice to play out over there? Interested in making a meetup in Vacaville? I have a weekly at a lounge up there on Saturday nights. PM me if interested. I have the DJ system and soundsystem. So people could just plug into it or use my DJM900NXS as a soundcard.

Sign up to our meetup group and you can post a suggestion. I know at least 1 DJ from that area!

I just need to acquire a few more pieces of gear. I’m impressed and a little jealous that you have the 900 Nexus. Is that yours or the lounge’s?

moving to sf soon! Ill definitely be trying this out when i get there.

It’s my own. The gear I take to the lounge is:

Asus G72X
TSP2 and Ableton
DJM900NXS
Technics 1200s
APC40
JBL EON G1x2

We taking a break this week and hopefully start up in 2 weeks or after the new years, If people can help me promote and bring people to the place I will be happy to give you a 1 or 2 hour time slot. Right now It’s only me and a couple invite DJs that play there.

I just sent you a private message as a way of establishing a connection. I’d be happy to help in any way that I can. I’m looking to get my feet wet and searching for opportunities to play out live in the bay area and build positive relationships with other DJs.
