Cheap portable Dj table??

Cheap portable Dj table??

One of these and a decent size piece of wood. Would that be an alright Dj table?? does anyone use that kind of set up?? i mean its only $10 for that stand!!

Doesn’t look to solid IMO… Dunno I’d trust my stuff on a 10 buck stand.. Just saying.. :stuck_out_tongue:

ive got a stand like that for my yamaha keyboard. they be sturdy, but i wouldnt trust it with my laptop and shit on it too… just go to walmart or homedepot and buy a plastic folding table.

this … get a folding table … plus if it doesnt look to nice, get some black fabric and wrap it around it .. bam!!!

:sunglasses:

thats true didnt think of that haha, that is probably the best thing to do

not even 4x the cost, yet 100x the utility. folds and will fit into most small cars, has a handle to carry half a mile from the road to the river and support a 52 LB case / cdjs / mixer / stand / wiring / extras (personal experience).

ultra sturdy, im not even kidding. read up on the comments. 5 stars over 255 reviews. i bought two more just to have for BBQs and other random tasks.

you will not be disappointed.

edit: relevant image of me w/ said table

They sell another one that has adjustable legs so you can raise it up to waist height. I wouldn’t pit two turntables and CDJ’s on it, but multiple controllers are another story.

hey jojo

may 29th, river party / camping / cookout at that same place - 20 minutes north of san antonio. quite a haul from where youre at now, but consider yourself invited.

thats what i use

at home…

and there are screws going from the 2x4 into the bars to hold it in place

and it wobbles a bit

i have those at work. and theyre study as shit as long as its locked down and set on a flat surface.

the results will very depending on what stand it is

well then dont buy the shitty one then.

you get what you pay for

i was 9. fuck off. its an old stand. lol

I use a cheap X stand and it works fine.

That being said, foldy tables are probably better. I’ve used the ones with extending legs too and they are study enough, as long as you treat them well. We use them for sound boards and processing racks as well, way heavier than a dj rig (around 100 pounds of gear), and haven’t had one break yet.
