Cheapest Place to buy a new s4
Hello DJTT,
I am now ready to set aside some money for an s4 but where is the cheapest place to get one? I would love to support DJTT and buy it from their store but unfortunately in my position I need to get it as cheap as possible.

S4 for cheaper price?
Pretty much most places sell the s4 for $899.99, but you can try going on e-bay in which people resell the s4 for a couple dollars less. What I had done is buy the s4 at zzounds and just paying around $225 a month, so you should check that out if money doesn’t come to you that often.
If you need good headphones then DJTT is the cheapest saving you $100 on headphones.
GuitarCenter just had 10% or $100 off deal last month on all products over $499. Unfortunately it ended on 7/31… If anything I have a feeling NI is going to drop the price a bit after this summer. They’ve been promoting the free scratch upgrade for a while now.

I went to my local Guitar Center and they price matched the $939 out the door!
On my receipt its says $732.94 for the S4 and $130.51 for the case with 75.55 for tax =)

Oh and I got the free Scratch upgrade kit.. which was sent to my house the next day! I guess they had a local shipping outlet in Sunnyvale I think it was?

Nah if you read the fine print of the Guitar Center ad it says that price match deals are excluded from the $100 discounts they give.

I received a price match from zzounds with a 15% off coupon from hollywood djs website. ZZsounds beat that price and offered free shipping which made it 743.00
Ninob thanks again, ordered mine last night and it is supposed to arrive today. This is my first time using zzounds and i am very pleased. Thanks again for everyone’s help and I can’t wait to start messing around with it.
There are some special times when the online stores have discounts, usually related to holidays here in USA. You would expect 15% discounts or so. It also helps to use the Google shopping search to see if some stores are dumping units. As for S4, it’s a hot potato and seems to easily become back-ordered so I doubt it’s easy to find such deals with this controller just now.
I visited the shop I am gonna have it at over the past weekend. I’ve not visited a music store inside a very long time and so i guess i was expecting an excessive amount of convinced that the folks working there’d understand what these were doing. They’d an iMac setup using the S4, APC40, Numark NS6, then one else… The man working for the reason that room could not obtain the audio from S4 in the future through. I had been disappointed as you would expect.
