CionniAsd little setup

Soooooo, starting from rmx and traktor1 4 years ago, now, i’m at this point.

s2, launchpad, vci 100 arcade + audio2, plus a Zomo laptop Stand and Reloop Rhp-10, ah, batbook!!

i was thinking of replacing the launchpad with a x1 for better control over sample decks, cause i was using it only for gratification mapping, but with s2 fx sections i’m done now.

Don’t be mean with me, i’m in Italy and i’m a student, is like a miracle that i find the money for this gear ahah and sorry for the mess in the pic

Nice!!! Hows the Launchpad work with TP2? I am currently running my X1 for the sample decks, works great!

It works well!! I’m using top 4 row for sample play, retrigger, and with 2 modificator theirs options, like enable fx, key lock, cue… But I miss eq and fader controls, for that I was thinking myself of the x1.
I’ll lose the grat mapping (and cue points 5-8) but is ok, jog fx and fx unit do the job great :slight_smile:

Simply because I was moving it away from the setup, cause I’m using only the s2, but in the pic I wanna show my loved Vci :slight_smile:

Yey, like we payed our gear twice than in America ahah
Example : traktor s2, 600 E → 800 $
Traktor s4 849 E → 1133 $
Shitty Euro!

As you can see, I need a new pair of headphones.
Mine are still working but, they are made of plastic, and in 2 zones they broke! So, with some tape they are doing their job, but, I wanna change them.
Some advice? I do not really want to spend a lot of money, since I just bought an s2+x1

Pioneer HDJ-500s are good for the price. I’ve got my eye on a pair of the new 1500s.

I found a great price on some used hdj 1000 , like 50 euros, in mint condition.
Here new 500 costs 80, and used like 60-50
So, better the 500 or 1000?

Or should I wait to get money for like, the aiaiai tma-1?

The 1000s have stronger build and will probably last you longer, so I’d go for those.

nice gear… i think you can get more from your launchpad for smaples and al of that stuff… instead of gettin one of those expensive NI contollers… get a lpd8 or a nano kontrol for the extra knobs…

already changed for an X1, and i think it was a good decision, it complete the s2 setup perfectly :slight_smile:

why didn’t you wait for the F1? That is even better for samples :wink:
