Complete n00b - any help would b gr8

So, I have been interested in DJ’ing for awhile and after using my friends S2, decided that I needed to get my own gear.

I bought a used VCI100 off ebay. Seller said it has V1.3 firmware. How to check?

I have traktor pro 2.0.3

Here are my questions…
Is there any internal difference between the vci100 and the 100SE?
I am ordering an overlay for the the new firmware, until then, is there a map to tell me which buttons do what?

Any other resources, tips, etc. would be great.

There is no difference internally, it’s just the firmware. There are tutorial videos on ean’s YouTube channel that go through all the features, and you should be able to find an image in the store that shows all the button labels.

Last thing, update Traktor to the latest version, 2.1.2.

So, upgraded to Traktor Pro 2.1.2 and am figuring most things out. 1 question… How do i get the jog wheels to “jog” through the song so I can cue to a certain point?

I would recomend update your VCI 100 to 1.4 FW and try out that

figured it out. Loaded the V4.1 tsi and all is well…
