congrats to..

i think one of the others is also here on djtt. congrats man!

Winning is good. Winning nice gear is very good.
Nice one man.

thanks

i lost the midi fighter contest but i got a pair of the next best thing lol

uh oh

“Because USB ports are just as limited as booth space, the dicers are designed to link up with each other using a common 1/8th inch cable which transfers data and power – meaning you only need one USB to power 2 units.”

what 1/8th inch cable? does this mean i need only 1 usb port, or is this something different alltogether

This means that you connect one dicer (the main dicer) to your usb hub. Then you use a regular 1/8 cable that connects the main dicer to the secondary dicer and away you go.

So: Laptop → Main Dicer (usb) → Secondary Dicer (1/8 cable)

is the 1/8 the kind used on the black berries? or the thicker version of it? or something different? (im going to be really surprised if its a headphone cable)

It comes with the dicer so you don’t need to sweat it

oh alright.

i was going to go to bestbuy tomorrow, so i wanted to pick it up while im there if i needed it. thanks.

Its a headphone cable

…youre shitting me…that cant carry the right data though… WTF?

Almost any Signal can easily be turned into simple midi signals. Shoot Ean an email, after all - he helped design it.

No reason that cable wouldn’t work.

That’s how the iPod Shuffle gets updated and charged, if I’m not mistaken.

well, go figure

awesome glad we were able to show DJTT users some love on this contest! be sure to forward your info to me or Dillon we’ll put them in the mail to ya.

I’m perplexed the eighth inch cable as well, but by all accounts they work great!

It’s all just current moving down the cable, and current can carry everything, data and audio included.

yup. i sent it to the one you posted on facebook.
