hey everybody, this thread is an opportunity to make requests, suggestions, etc for upcoming packs. I’m always open to ideas so fire away.

Why aren’t traktor packs in actual remix sets?
Just wondering why samples aren’t already

Might be obvious, but maybe one with some heavy guitar riffs or chords, maybe a few stadium style drum samples. Basically a heavy metal pack but with a cool twist to it. Maybe mix in some dub sounds and vocal parts.
I saw an F1 pack with guitars which got me playing with the MF and some guitar VSTs. You can get a lot of combo varieties when using guitar parts it seems since the sounds all flow together pretty good.
Some Reggae and Dub influenced stuff would be great! Horns, Guitars, bass and rasta gents shouting ‘One Love’ and ‘more fire for the man dem!’
oh and maybe have the packs coincide with various festivals, gigs etc happening around the world.
Hmm, something relating with very different genres, more creativity 
+1 Remix sets for F1 would be nice!
how about a pack of messed up amen breaks, you can never have too many and they can never be messed up too much.. with big long subsonic bassline loops and a couple of percussion loops
- 8 amen breaks, progressively getting more crazy 8 beats long
- 4 subsonic bass samples 32-64 beats long
- 1 hat 16 beats long
- 1 hat & clap 16 beats long
- 1 hat & clap & ride 16 beats long
- 1 hat & clap & percussive vocal stab 16 beats long

Id love to see some “remix” style packs. take sum popular tracks chopped up and add some “Mad Zachistry” ( i just coined that term but Zach, you’re welcome to us it haha) and then see what we can do.

Nintendo synths! Or some kind of crazy Igorrr style pack with everything and anything from tribal chants to breakcore back to carnival tunes chopped into death metal with a sprinkle of classic orchestral performances.

haha good idea man any requests for that? I already sort of did that on one of them (not that its a one time only thing) for a Wilson Picket song in the “thats my number pack.” I think I sense an urban dictionary entry coming on
any genre’s in particular you’re interested in?
id love to see some classic b-boy breaks cut up and flipped things like theme from planets with some crazy loops and drum kicks or planet rock or maybe din daa daa (i love that jam) but again these need to come with your usual assortment of nasty audio wizardry
i hope there will be a Sound Pack for the F1, i just got the MF Pro Beat Masher, can i use the pack for that to, (pre mapped) or do i have to map it then? :s
MF Pro Beatmasher should work great! You may need to re-map to the macro’s on the drumrack but I’ll look into it today, might even be plug n’ play. We’re working on getting packs ready for remix decks but unfortunately the F1 is optimized for Traktor and a lot of what makes these packs to special is all the internal routing, compression, fx, choke, and momentary groups only possible with Ableton. I’ll have to mess about with the F1 and see if I can get it to work with Ableton, that would be cool.

I think I can already smell the beautiful burning flesh aroma of a Halloween pack! I’d love to see some screams, pipe organs, evil scientist cackles, buzzing tesla coils, lightning cracks, ominous dark tones, BRAAAAAIIIINSSS! thunder rumbles, bubbling cauldrons, massive bass drums, monster groans, bones snapping and rattling, chain clinks, creaky stairs, snake spirit voodoo juju, whistling wind, ghastly laments, ferocious growls, hairy, slimey, frightened and filthy freaked out fun with a massive clunky pull level switch to set it off chik-BOOM vrrrRRRRR!.
Maybe even some samples ripped straight from classic horror. Jeff Wayne’s musical version of War of the Worlds anyone? The grudge croak (claude von stroke knows the deal), Jigsaw traps whirring and grinding, the air raid siren from silent hill, that old guy from the Hills have Eyes remake wheezing his way through the stars and stripes, deadspace monsters wrecking up the joint inside the walls clanging and banging, and what I really need to start searching for…

I would love to hear some deathstep beats, something like with midi chugs or nice rifts, I’m not sure I’m explaining it right or close at all, but something with a metal vibe or feeling to it, thats something I would be interested in hearing.
